Local Purchase Executive
Job Location : UAE
Key Responsibilities :
• Local Sourcing & Category Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reputable local suppliers across dry, frozen, and chilled food lines.
• Vendor Management: Maintain and audit vendor performance (KPIs, OTIF delivery, quality compliance, and price stability).
• Negotiation & Cost Optimization: Lead negotiations on volume discounts, payment terms, and rebates to secure competitive unit costs.
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and finalize supplier agreements, ensuring favorable commercial and legal terms.
• Market Intelligence: Track local FMCG market trends, commodity price fluctuations, and supply chain bottlenecks to mitigate risk.
Required Qualifications & Skills :
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of direct local procurement experience within the FMCG / Food & Beverage sector in the local market.
• Category Expertise: Hands-on experience managing procurement for multiple food categories (Dry, Chilled, and Frozen).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA), Commerce (B.Com), or Supply Chain Management.
• Core Competencies: High-impact negotiation skills, commercial acumen, and strong local vendor networks.
