Footwear Buyer (International Brand)
Job Location : Kuwait
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop seasonal product assortments in line with brand vision and customer preferences.
• Monitor product lifecycle, initiate reorders, and identify exit strategies for underperforming items.
• Analyze fashion trends, market shifts, and customer behavior to inform buying decisions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers (local & international).
• Negotiate cost prices, terms, margins, and delivery timelines to maximize profitability.
• Track purchase orders and deliveries to ensure timely stock arrival.
• Analyze weekly and monthly sales reports, stock levels, and sell-through rates.
Requirements :
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Buying, Fashion Merchandising, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in buying, product selection, or category management within the fashion retail industry.
• Proficient in Excel, merchandise planning tools, and ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar).
• Strong numerical and analytical ability with a good understanding of retail KPIs and margins.
• Good communication skills.
