Purchase Officer
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Execute end-to-end procurement workflows for active construction and infrastructure projects.
• Identify reliable material suppliers and obtain competitive price quotations across vendor networks.
• Negotiate commercial terms, cost rates, delivery timelines, and supply agreements with vendors.
• Oversee vendor performance ratings and maintain active relationships with key suppliers.
• Partner with field project managers to ensure on-time material distribution to sites.
• Keep comprehensive purchasing records and enforce internal corporate procurement policies.
Core Competencies & Requirements :
• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Industry Experience: Up to 5 years of procurement experience within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Technical Strengths: Strong understanding of construction materials, sourcing processes, price negotiations, and purchasing logistics.
• Candidate Profile: Immediate availability preferred; local candidates based in Abu Dhabi hold an advantage.
