Job Vacancy: Junior Solar Technical Sales Assistant

We are looking for a Junior Solar Technical Sales Assistant with knowledge of Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Systems, Renewable Energy Technologies, and Lighting Solutions to support our Sales Engineer and technical team.
This position is ideal for candidates who are passionate about renewable energy and interested in developing their career in the solar industry while providing technical assistance, customer support, and sales coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Sales Engineer in preparing technical proposals, quotations, and project documentation.
Support solar PV system design, sizing, and basic system calculations.
Perform basic electrical calculations, including voltage, current, power, load requirements, and system specifications.
Assist in preparing Bills of Materials (BOM), cost estimates, and material requirements.
Coordinate with customers regarding project requirements, technical inquiries, and product information.
Provide technical support during project planning, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Support the technical team during site surveys, installations, troubleshooting, and other field activities.
Conduct site visits when required and assist in project coordination.
Prepare and maintain accurate project records, reports, and documentation.
Qualifications
Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Undergraduate with relevant technical experience.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in the solar industry, electrical field, renewable energy, lighting, or related technical roles.
Basic knowledge of solar PV systems, including system components, installation procedures, and troubleshooting.
Understanding of basic electrical concepts such as voltage, current, power, and electrical calculations.
Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drafting is an advantage.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Email).
Ability to prepare quotations and perform basic technical computations.
Good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Willing to learn, work independently, and collaborate effectively with the team.
Immediate availability is preferred.
Preferred Candidate
Filipino nationality is preferred, but all nationalities are welcome to apply.
Must be currently residing in Qatar (Local Hire only).
Must have a valid NOC (No Objection Certificate) and be eligible for immediate sponsorship transfer.
Candidates with a valid Qatar driver's license and their own vehicle will have an added advantage.
