We are hiring a Land Surveyor (Utility - Power/Cable Routes) for a major utility infrastructure project in the UAE.
(Overseas candidates are welcome to apply and must be willing to relocate to Dubai)
Position: Land Surveyor (Utility - Power/Cable Routes)

Salary: AED 5,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Cross-check demarcation and levels of cable routes done by contractors' surveyors and give clearance.
- Assist and guide contractors in coordinating with road consultants/contractors for survey information as needed to ensure works are carried out correctly.
- Check and confirm correctness of alignment and level of cables laid by contractors against survey information provided by Dubai Municipality/consultants.
- Check and certify as-built drawings received from cable-laying contractors against the demarcated corridor for GIS posting.
- Carry out measurement of works done by contractors for cable installation.
- Demarcate and cross-check cable route survey works to ensure laid cables are within the correct corridor/level as per the relevant utility authority, RTA, and DM requirements.
- Ensure non-disclosure of confidential information to anyone within or outside the organization, during or after employment.
- Follow and adhere to OH&S Management System Manual and safety standards.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering / 2 years certificate course (I.T.I)
Experience: Relevant experience in cable route surveying, GIS surveying; utility infrastructure survey experience preferred.
