Possible qualifications and experience:
• Vocational training, ITI, diploma, or equivalent practical experience, depending on employer requirements.
• Experience fabricating and fitting sheet-metal components.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and use measuring and cutting tools.
• Knowledge of workshop safety and material handling.
Typical responsibilities:
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, and fabricate sheet-metal components.
• Prepare cladding and related components according to specifications.
• Check dimensions and workmanship.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe working area.
