Quantity Surveyor
Job Location : Kuwait
Typical Duties & Responsibilities :
• Maintain a drawing register so each measurement record identifies the revision used for the calculation.
• Prepare bills of quantities with clear item descriptions, units and totals for commercial review.
• Separate contractor and subcontractor package boundaries to identify overlaps before teams agree their respective values.
• Track material wastage allowances separately from measured installation quantities so reviewers can test the pricing assumptions.
• Record daywork labour, materials and equipment against signed records when the contract uses this payment basis.
• Check subcontractor account deductions against agreed terms and show each deduction clearly in the assessment.
• Maintain a list of pending commercial queries with responsible contacts and dates for follow-up.
• Reconcile purchase quantity changes against the original allowance to identify possible cost pressure before final settlement.
Qualifications & Requirements :
• Plumbing & Firefighting 3–5 years of experience (Quantity Surveyor specialization).
• Currently available in Kuwait
• Valid Kuwait Residency.
• Relevant experience in the respective position (HVAC or Plumbing & Firefighting).
• Immediate joiners will be given preference
• 3–5 years of HVAC experience.
