Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate HVAC duct installation teams on construction sites.
Ensure ducting works are installed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and SMACNA standards.
Manage installation activities including duct fabrication coordination, insulation, supports, and system connections.
Coordinate duct installation with mechanical equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, and diffusers.
Monitor installation quality and ensure compliance with project specifications and quality control procedures.
Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations on site.
Coordinate with project engineers, QA/QC teams, and other construction trades to ensure smooth workflow.
Monitor work progress and ensure project timelines and installation milestones are achieved.
Provide guidance and supervision to duct installers, technicians, and helpers.
Maintain accurate documentation and site reports related to ducting installation activities.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Education
Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Experience
8 to 10 years of professional experience in HVAC ducting installation and supervision.
Experience in high-rise or large commercial building projects is strongly preferred.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of HVAC duct fabrication and installation processes.
Familiarity with SMACNA standards and HVAC installation best practices.
Experience working with HVAC system components including AHUs, FCUs, diffusers, and ventilation systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and shop drawings.
Understanding of duct insulation, support systems, and mechanical connections.
Industry Experience
Previous UAE construction or MEP project experience is highly preferred.
Experience coordinating with multiple construction trades and engineering teams.
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage site teams while maintaining quality and safety standards.
