Chiller Technician
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities :
• Perform routine and emergency troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on various chiller systems (e.g., Centrifugal, Screw, Scroll, Absorption).
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) tasks as per scheduled plans, including cleaning tubes, checking refrigerant levels, analyzing oil, and replacing filters.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults in chiller controls, motors, starters, and piping systems.
• Monitor chiller operation using building management systems (BMS) and manual checks to ensure parameters are within specified limits.
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, minimizing system downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, service reports, and parts inventory.
• Adhere to all company safety protocols, procedures, and environmental regulations, especially when handling refrigerants.
• Coordinate with other team members and contractors to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians when required.
Mandatory Requirements:
• Certification: A valid ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate in a relevant trade (e.g., Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Electrical).
• 2 years of direct hands-on experience with chiller systems within the GCC region.
• 5 years of overall experience in the Facilities Management (FM) or general maintenance industry, with significant exposure to HVAC and chiller systems.
• Languages: Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
