Key Responsibilities:
-Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
-Oversee project accounting for real estate developments and interior design projects
-Track project costs, budgets, and profitability (materials, labor, subcontractors)
-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
-Handle revenue recognition for property sales, leasing, and design contracts
-Monitor cash flow and prepare financial forecasts
-Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS)
-Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
-Manage VAT filings and other tax obligations
-Develop and maintain internal controls and financial policies
-Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic planning
-Supervise junior accounting staff.
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
-Professional certification preferred (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent)
-5 – 6+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate and/or interior design/construction
-Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control
-Experience with ERP/accounting software
-Solid understanding of VAT regulations (especially relevant in UAE/GCC)
Advanced Excel skills
-Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities
