Site Engineer
Job Location : UAE
Job description :
• Supervise steel erection works (columns, beams, trusses, bridge girders)
• Review IFC drawings, method statements, and erection sequences
• Coordinate crane activities and lifting operations
• Verify anchor bolt alignment, base plate levels, and bearing elevations
• Supervise site welding activities per American Welding Society standards
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection activities at the site
• Ensure compliance with project ITP and quality procedures
• Track daily progress and report to the Operations Director
• Liaise with client/consultant representatives
Requirements :
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 5–8 years of site experience in structural steel fabrication/erection
• Experience in crane lifting coordination and rigging supervision
• Ability to read structural drawings and shop drawings
• Strong understanding of steel grades (S275, S355, ASTM A36, etc.)
• Good reporting and documentation skills
