Mechanical Site Engineer

Job Location : Sharjah, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily mechanical installation works ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and local authority regulations
• Oversee mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and gas systems
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
• Coordinate with contractors, MEP subcontractors, and other disciplines for seamless project execution
• Monitor workmanship, inspect material deliveries, and report deviations
• Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and support project handover
• Ensure compliance with QA/QC standards, safety requirements, and project timelines

Job Details :

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 4–7 years of relevant site experience
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, and gas systems
• Proven experience in mechanical site supervision within UAE or GCC projects
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements (e.g., Municipality, Civil Defense, SEWA)
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and coordination plans
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality, safety, and timely deliver
