Accountant
Job Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of general ledger accounts.
• Post journal entries and maintain all accounting records.
• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate financial reports for management and other departments.
• Assist in the preparation of internal and external audit reports.
• Perform balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulations.
• Support monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in tax return preparation (VAT, sales tax, etc.).
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide financial insights to support business functions.
• Collaborate with other departments (AP, AR, Payroll) to resolve accounting issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role (Oracle experience preferred)
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Oracle, MS Office (Excel), and financial systems
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
