Architectural Joinery Draftsman
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings for various projects including residential, commercial.
• Develop 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project scope and requirements.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
• Revise drawings as needed based on feedback and changes in project scope.
• Prepare material take-offs and assist in the preparation of bill of materials.
• Conduct site visits to gather measurements and understand site conditions.
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure accuracy and quality of the joinery items.
• Maintain and update drawing files and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of design presentations and client meetings.
Key Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Architectural Drafting, Interior Design, or related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman in the Gulf countries.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of joinery construction methods and materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in the UAE.
