JOB PROFILE
• Studying the project scope, BOQ, Contract agreement, contract drawings, Technical specifications, and vendor list to understand the scope involved and Project deliverables.
• Doing the quantity take off having a check over the design verification against the local authority regulations and project specifications, and prepare elementary budget and man power required delivering the project within the time frame.
• Supervise contracted staff & ensuring projects meet agreed specifications, budgets or timescales
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff and provide technical advice and solving problems on site.
• Sending Enquiries to different approved/suggested Vendors, studying the quotation received, Preparing Techno commercial comparison, negotiating with the suppliers to match the system budget.
• Coordinate with the short listed vendor for material submittal, checking the compliance statement against the contract drawings and specifications, before submitting it to the consultant, to expedite the approval process.
• Coordinate with procurement team in verification of the final quantities that are to be purchase once the material approval is received.
• Making the delivery schedule and arranging the procurement of different immediate and long lead materials to suite the project scope and final hand over of the project.
• Coordinate closely with consultant and client to have quick approval on electrical and other low current shop drawings so as not affect continuous ongoing site progress and further to avoid repetitive works.
• Tracking all field instructions, RFIs, NCR, SOR, IR & Minutes of different coordination and progress meetings in order to incorporate the same in the construction drawings and simultaneously keeping a check on project scope and variation claims, if applicable any.
• Coordinate with quality control engineers to acquire proper approvals on method statements, material onsite inspections, and work progress inspection and simultaneously making sure that material delivered and material used at site shall be in accordance project approvals.
• Carry out sample inspections for very first installations of each activity to understand the consultant requirements and his methods and repeat the same approved sample inspection for the balance works.
• Study in detail the interfacing requirements between the different systems based on the project specifications, design drawings and BOQ and accordingly coordinate for the same with different specialist suppliers.
• Preparing site reports and handle in other documentations.
• Preparation of required materials for gas detection system for residential and commercial gas detection systems.
• Preparation of shop drawings and As-built drawings and getting approval from consultants and authorities
• Successfully handles testing and calibration of different types of gas detectors.
• Installation, calibration of detectors and pre-commissioning of gas detection system for laboratories with different types of gas detectors (O2, H2S, HC, CO2, H2, SO2, NO, NH3, CL2).
• Installation and pre-commissioning of gas detection system for Residential, commercial and high-rise towers.
