RESPONSIBILITY:-
As a QA/QC Piping & Mechanical Engineer my present responsibilities are mentioned below.
? Preparation of Inspection & Test Plan, Method Statement, Inspection Forms & Other quality procedures.
? Be custodian of Project documents, QC Reports, Inspection & Testing records
? Be responsible for inspection and testing as per approved inspection and test plans.
? Give feedback to the management about Implementation of QMS.
? Ensure all safety rules and instructions.
? Review and approval of the Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) as per specifications and standards for different materials.
? Prepare & Maintain QA/QC Inspection Records of workshop activities like fabrication, welding, surface preparation (blasting) and painting.
? Inspection of Fabricated Materials, their dimension, alignment and appearance as per drawing and project specification / applicable code.
? Visual inspection of welding joints, Piping, Structure, Storage Tanks, Pressure Vessels, etc.
? Checking Dimension & Orientation of manufacturing products like Storage Tanks, Pressure Vessels, etc using Isometric drawings & Fabrication drawings.
? Witnessing Penetrant Test (PT), Magnetic Particle Test (MPT) and Radiographic Test (RT) of welding parts/joints.
? Witnessing Leak Test like Hydro Test.
? Participating, Supervising, Monitoring & maintaining inspection report of fabrication process which includes Material Receiving, Preparation or Pre-Assembling, Assembly and Welding.
? Interpreting Isometric, Piping Plan, Piping and Instrument Diagram & Welding Symbols.
? Verifying the calibration of welding equipments and oven.
? Witnessing weld joints repair in according to repair procedures.
? Preparing Weld maps & updates the production weld details & radiographic.
? Inspection of surface preparation and painting.
? Daily Weather log Monitoring for coating.
? In process Coating Inspection.
? Paint Final Inspection – Holiday testing/ Pull off test.
? Documentation of welding summary report, records & weld maps as per the Quality plan.
? Final Inspection of the product to ensure completion of the work and documentation in all respects.
