Job description: To ensure plant availability and adequate systems control to assist operations in meeting process targets by resolving problems in plant instrumentation, PLC programming and SCADA programming.
Period: 01 November 2011 to date
I have knowledge and 10 years experience in the following equipments and systems:
1. SCADA/HMI: Wonderware System Platform Application Server and InTouch for System Platform.
2. PLC: Siemens Simatic Step 7, Siemens/ CTI 505 Workshop/ APT, Siemens LOGO and ABB AC500 CodeSys. Programming: Ladder, Statement List, Function Block, Timers, Counters and PID Control.
3. Communication Network Systems: Industrial Ethernet, TCP/IP and Peer to Peer.
Interconnections: Hirshmann Switches, Hubs, and Routers.
Communication Medium: RS232, Profibus DP, Fiber Optic, Cat5e and Conversions.
4. Embedded systems: PIC microcontroller programming-IoT Application. ‘C’ programming language.

7. Installation of robust Vegabar Pressure Transmitters with diaphragm valves at EPMR Barrens Plant for level measurement. No downtime compared to the previous level measurement system. Accuracy improved, stability, reliability and cost saving.
