I am writing to outline my extensive experience and successful track record in the field of gynaecology and obstetrics. I believe I possess the skills, qualifications and vital experience necessary to make a very significant contribution to your organisation.
I am a dedicated and empathetic medical professional with strong passion in contributing to the field of reproductive medicineand IVF techniques. As you will note in my enclosed CV, I have acquired rich experience in IVF techniques such as IUI, IVF, ICSI, PGD, RhCGH, TESA, PESA, testicular biopsies, egg and sperm donation.
Currently practising with the REA Maternity Hospital, I am consulting approx. 60-70 patients per week for gynaecological care and 10-15 patients per month with infertility problems. In the IVF unit, we are performing 800-1000 IVF cycles annually with pregnancy rates around 60% for women below 40 years. I am personally taking charge of around 100 IVF cycles per year. This has resulted in positioning REA as the 2nd biggest maternity hospital in Athens.
Prior to this, I was associated with the biggest IVF centre in Greece and one of the biggest in Europe with over 3000 cycles IVF annually. I played a key role in providing IVF treatment to couples from other European countries like Italy, UK, France and Australia.
At this stage of my career, I possess a broad range of educational, professional and life-based experiences and can effectively manage challenging cases in reproductive medicine.This position seems to align closely to my interests and would enable me to apply my expertise in an exciting new setting while offering the career progression I am looking for.I have a professional and confident approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
