Key Achievements
• Successfully developing a ten year shutdown “look ahead” plan ensuring all procedures are in accordance with commercial and equipment maintenance requirements, the company business plan is based on this look ahead plan,
• Playing a pivotal role in the effective development and implementation of a Shutdown Management System based on the Gate Process and Quality Assurance plan whilst incorporating cold eye, readiness and auditing.
• Has developed many best practices on Shutdown Management that were copied by main COMPANY Share Holders.
• Instrumental in leading major shutdown operations including 3 big debottlenecking projects implementation of up to 5 million man hours without any Lost Time Injury
Key Responsibilities
• Full responsibility for the turnaround of seven LNG plants, two refineries and all common facilities within Qatargas.
• Proactively preparing and executing the turnarounds with the core focus on HSE and quality, subsequently leading to safer and more efficient performances of the 3-4 shutdowns per year.
• Effectively optimising the turnaround frequency and duration by challenging the maintenance and inspection programmes including, reviewing gas turbines overall and optimising the RBI programme.
• Conducts vigorous testing to ensure safety and efficiency whilst effectively challenging the overall maintenance capacity by applying RBWS methods.
• Developing innovative strategies to ensure the best possible organisation practices for turnaround teams.
• Regularly performing shutdowns with a range of contractors involving up to 5000 people.
• Actively participating in various projects including 3D modelling and reviews as well as re-assessing the maintainability of equipment and challenging major engineering and construction companies including TECHNIP and CHIYODA.

• Proactively Involved in the RAM study of the new plants by inputting maintenance data and minimising maintenance turnarounds

• Providing valuable maintenance input and overseeing the new expansion plants and onshore facilities for two Mega LNG Trains, four SRU’s, Utility plants and Offshore Platforms
• Effectively implementing the onshore Assurance Plan including Risk studies whilst executing the review process for maintenance strategies, spares and CMMS
• Ensures all Operations Assurance processes are monitored for intervention requirements and effective maintenance occurs in the execution, commissioning, start up and operating phases of the project to guarantee a safe start up and handover to Qatargas Operations in an agreed manner

2002 – 2006 Head of Maintenance, Planning and Methods, QATARGAS
Key Achievements
• Successfully leading the preparation of all Qatargas Shutdowns since 1997 and was nominated Shutdown Manager in 2005 for the third LNG train to be debottlenecked. Effectively enabling the shutdown to be Incident and Injury free whilst accomplishing the project ahead of schedule and with a considerable cost saving.
Key Responsibilities
• Undertaking a multi faceted role with a range of duties and responsibilities including managing five section heads whilst directing the activities for all costs, contracts, material coordination, CMMS and Shutdown Planning
• Leading and organising a team to review all equipment strategies of the plant as well as implementing the Company Industry Best Practices including RBWS
• Coordinating additions and amendments in SAP to Master Data including: Revisions, Functional Locations, Classes and Characteristics, Catalogues and Codes, Work Centres and Strategies for Preventive Maintenance, etc
• Project managing the implementation of the Asset Performance Manager (APM) as well as plant wide Operation and Inspections and Maintenance Modules, leading to the successful implementation of the LPE (Lost Production Events), RBI, RCM, RCA and other APM modules
