My experience on ocean going vessel trading worldwide has gained me knowledge and experience and exposed me to different scenarios and situation of operation in highly volatile and flammable cargoes, as well as following safety procedures and operating special equipments including inert gas systems both nitrogen and hydrocarbon gas inerting, purging and cargo tank cleaning operations. Various cargo pumps such as Deep well cargo pump both hydraulic,(Framo), and Steam operated Cargo Oil Pump Turbine COPT(Shinko) pumps were experienced operating and did repairs. Knowledge and experience on following procedures such as checklist, risk assessment, locking/tagging of equipment electrical source, stop call, near miss reporting, toolbox meeting, informing or establishing good communication, and incorporating safety as daily habit and considering SAFETY FIRST, as a greatest rule. For it to be considered "A JOB WELL DONE", is when it is done or performed safely following rules and procedures. I worked with different nationalities which gave me experience in dealing custom and cultural differences that molded my ability to work harmoniously with peers.
