Brief Profile
I am a Building Services Engineer with over 17 years of experience, having worked in Qatar for 8+ years, the UAE for 5 years, and Bangladesh for 4 years. Beginning my career in a consultancy firm for 2 years, I transitioned to a contracting company where I have held various roles responsible for MEP systems’ design, execution, and project management.
Throughout my career, I have successfully managed and completed multiple projects across Qatar, UAE, and Bangladesh. Specifically, I have served as MEP Project Manager in two projects in Qatar, Senior MEP Coordinator in two others, and fulfilled roles as MEP/Mechanical Engineer in numerous additional projects. Currently, I am leading the MEP scope for the design and execution of a Synthetic Natural Gas Farm Project in Lusail, Qatar, as the Lead MEP Engineer for a Design Build project.
My expertise encompasses the execution and design review of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Electrical Low Voltage systems, as well as proficient project management skills. Current Job Responsibilities:
• Represent the company at project
• Assisting the Project Manager/Operation Manager in delivering all other obligations under the Conditions of Contract.
• Reviewing contract documents, IFT/IFC drawings for technical and contractual issues.
• Preparing the procurement statement of work and reviewing the subcontractors' proposals along with Contracts and QS department.
• Assist with the planning and execution of MEP related plans and Targets.
• Preparing & reviewing the shop drawings, material submittals, technical submittals, design calculations, method statement, ITP, guiding/assisting the QA/QC and design team.
• Guiding the BIM team for full coordination of all trades considering Structural and Architectural requuirements and to produce clash free coordination plan.
• Responsible for successful execution of the Project site works in accordance with the Project Schedule, Cost and other KPI’s.
• Direct Management of a Team of Engineers, Supervisors and supporting services as defined in the Project Organization Chart.
• Maintain a strong and effective professional working relationship with the Client, Consultant, Contractor, interfacing Sub-contractors and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all works on site are adequately and safely planned, performed, directed, and supervised by the Team and subcontractors. Make sure that work is executed as per Drawings, specifications, plans to achieve the Project KPI’s.
• Ensure that all HSE planning is in place and that necessary measures are taken to avoid any accidents/incidents.
• Compare planned works versus work executed, make sure that all works are delivered on time and to the required quality.
• Coordinate with Subcontractors to ensure provision of adequate resources through an efficient work force, plan aligned with the Construction phases and work priorities to achieve safe and successful Project deliveries.
• Proactively estimate and forecast required resources, based on the working Program, upcoming Construction phase, number and qualification of the work force need to avoid Manpower shortage.
• Follow all relevant functional processes, standard operating procedures, and instruction to ensure that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of MEP systems, processes and practices considering international best practices, improvement of business, Cost reduction and Productivity improvement.
• Identify any potential threat to the Project completion dates and report to the Project Manager with remedial measures.
• Coordinating and arranging authority inspections, approvals and connections.
• Take overall and final responsibility for the commissioning phase of the project
• Fulfilling project’s all closing out requirement as per company policy and project requirement.
• Responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of the project during 400 days Maintenance period after handing over.

Engineering
• Ensure that Engineering/Design complies with Standards, Local Authorities and the specialist manufacturer's recommendation.
• Ensure that proper coordination among services is made for both hard and soft clashes prior to execution.
• Monitor and ensure that pre-construction project activities (material submittals, drawings, method statements, ITP, PQP) are executed in line with the project plan.
• Ensure that adequate resources are assigned to the project in coordination with the operations manager/project head.
Project Management
• Develop and implement the project execution plan, ensuring the implementation of quality control standards and cost control on the project for on-time completion.

• Liaising with all stakeholders to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Coordinating with project leads and department managers to ensure timely order of materials and planning/arranging of labor / sub-contractors.

• Overseeing the installation and construction work from time to time and ensuring efficient standards of workmanship are maintained.

• Obtain variation orders on scope changes instructed by the employer.
Quality Management
• Ensuring the assignment of adequate QA/QC staff
• Monitor and control the quality performance of the projects.
• Ensure that no quality deviations are occurring in the projects.
