A : Working experience:
1. Current Employment :

Organisation : Arjuwan Shati Muscat LLC. Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
Designation : General Manager.
Areas of Operations : Power sector, distribution Projects and MEP projects.
Role and Responsibilities :
As a General Manager, I am responsible for following.
• Tendering.
• Liaison and negotiating with customers, and order booking
• Negotiations with vendors and order placement.
• Over all Project Management.
Achievements :
At the time of my Joining Arjuwan Shati Muscat LLC (ASM) on 4th. August 2014, the company was registered as a class “ B” contractor with DCRP. The largest value of project, ever booked was 1.1 Million OMR.
I joined Arjuwan Shati Muscat LLC with a foresight to achieve substantial growth for the company.
Major achievements since my joining the company are listed herein under.
1. Upgradation to “A” Grade contractor on 1.03.215 with DCRP.
2. Upgradation to Excellent Grade Contractor with tender Board of Oman
3. Registered with ROP
4. Registered with MOD.
5. Registered with OETC for Grid stations and sub station Maintenance contracts
6. Developed a team of competent engineers and technicians.
7. Since my joining ASM, orders valued at 40 million are booked.
8. Booked and executed major orders from utilities and Private clients, largest order booked and successfully executed was valued at 6.9 Million OMR.
9. Booked and executed successfully 4 numbers Primary substation order.

2. Prior Experience :

a. Bahwan Engineering Co. LLC, Muscat. – (BEC)
Designation : Assistant General Manager.
Duration : From 2nd. May 2006 to 17th. March 2014 (Nearly 8 years)
1. Head Electrical Project group:
Was responsible for over all management of the division which Involved, tendering and execution of electrical project in Oil and utility sector, Major clients being OETC, PDO, and other utilities and private sectors.
List of Major Projects executed under my control are attached in separate annexure.
2. Execution of Air Port Project. :
BEC was awarded Electrical Power distribution and MEP package (MC1), as a sub contractor by CCC- TAV joint venture, at a value of 83 Million OMR, which was one of the largest order booked by BEC.
I was shifted to, execution of Main Package 1 (MC-1) Muscat International airport Project with following responsibilities.
1. Handling contractual communications.
2. Change Management
3. Planning
4. Monthly Billing
5. Payment collection.
b. ABB Ltd. India.
Designation: Assistant Vice President
Duration: 1st. April 1986 to 30th. April 2006 (Nearly 20 years)
I worked with ABB Ltd. India, through the ranks laterally and vertically as detailed below:

? Project tendering including the strategic decisions on targeted mark up, method of negotiating with the customer. The significant projects were 132 KV, 220 KV and 400 KV sub-stations and distribution systems.
? Project details estimations/finalization including validating the costs, nuts and bolts of execution in the terms of man hours, materials, cash flow of working capital, licensing, permissions, drawing approvals
? Decisions of purchase policy based upon the mark up targets and reverse costing.
? Technical back office support of all engineering functions.
? Working as customer interface; customers being consultants and the actual user party. This function is delicate and critical to maintain healthy recovery cycles.
? Human resource handling that included recruiting, terminating, promoting and lateral shifts of critically important people.

c. National Dairy Development Board, India.

Designation: Project Engineer.

Duration: 1st. August 1984 to 31st. March 1986. – 1 year and 8 months.

As a Project engineer in their edible oil projects. Involved in planning, execution and maintenance of electrical systems for edible oil projects.

d. M/s. Pioneer Electric Furnace Manufacturers at ANAND, India :

Designation: Erection and Commissioning Engineer.

Duration: 1st. August1981 to 31st. July 1984

Started my carrier as an erection and commissioning engineer. Involved in erection and commissioning of induction furnaces. Responsible for all the activities of site management, like labor management, liasion with client, to achieve timely completion of projects.
