Mar’09 – Aug’17: Tasnee Petrochemical, Jubail, SA as Superintendent Polymers Shipping & Order Processor

Shouldering the responsibility of:
Taking care of shipping & order process department, which consist of 12 direct pay role employee and 20 through contractual. However all together, we do handle 1.6 Million MT of cargo and in TEU we do handle 98000 TEU & 9600 trucks movement for GCC and within KSA territory.
Accountability: Freight Management, procuring freight through On spot & annual tendering process, managing 3PL & 4PL service provider, detention monitoring, regular meeting with shipping line, maintain rule & regulation of office, MIS report to senior Management , part of FLM( Finance logistic meeting), billing to be paid on agreed KPI.
Achievements: Successfully run freight payback policy which helps to bring back USD 1.4 Million to company treasury. Achieved KPI of SAR 70 Million (USD 18.7Millon) saving in freight by utilizing less freight carrier YOY basis. Strategically increase one (1)Ton in loose bag loading, in quantity increase payload from 16 MT to 17 MT, as it helps to ship out one ton extra in same freight and it directly reflect in cost per ton reduction, however for jumbo bags added 40 bags of 650KG in 40’units which helps to ship out 26MT i/o 23.5 MT of cargo without increasing fright slab.
Successfully Implemented NOR (Non-operating reefer) for Dry cargo which gives us 20% to 30% reduction in freight with in compare to dry box freight, which yield company revenue & gives benefits to sales the product in economical per ton cost in competitive market. Last but very important reduce the order to cash cycle (from 21 days to 16 Days).

Project handles and executed:
• Transform Manual to automated process: Successfully managed and executed digitalized supply chain, by transforming manual process into EDI process, as per process, linked manufacture supply chain system with FFD through EDI process and whole process links with terminal system which gives complete transparency of movement of goods from stuffing point to on board activity. However, for further track, link with carrier system & make process to accept container movement track through carrier system which gives us complete transparency of goods movement till port of discharge from stuffing point.
• Hub and spoke process: Through this process we created HUB for loaded containers (as floating inventory) Which helps us to sales the goods with good margins, as through hub process, we are able to reduce transit time from order to deliver the goods to consignee. It helps us manifold such as distribute inventory at onsite & at hub (out of country Boundaries)
• Destination hub: Through this hub, we load the units in advance as per forecast and once orders generated, team shipped the goods to destination, through this process, we were able to manage to deliver the goods in good transit days with competitive price.
• Non- Operating reefer Project(NOR): This is out of box process, in which we have taken lead in the region and become first organization to start stuffing Dry palletized cargo in 40 HC refer , which helps us to save 20 to 40% discount on basic freight with compare to Dry box freight to respective destination, through this logistic arms contributed goods USD in million per annum saving for company. For this out of box process, we have awarded two time back to back highest NOR exporter from Middle east region.
• Terminal cash back process: Had negotiated with terminal to pay back to our organization USD 27 per boxes which had exported out from their facility, through this negotiation both organization reaped the benefits Terminal had good export through put and we saved-on every which helps to reduce logistic cost.
• Logistic complaints reduction: Through continue dialogue with marketer and keep process monitoring we had reduced the customer compliant, which help to boost our sales and market profile.
