FELLOWSHIP TRAINING IN PAEDIATRIC NEUROSURGERY
• Over 2 years of dedicated experience in Paediatric neurosurgery.
• Trained under Prof. C. E. Deopujari, Dr. Uday B Andar and Dr. Naresh K. Biyani leading paediatric neurosurgeons in India for 1 year and under Mr. Guirish Solanki and Mr. Richard Walsh at Birmingham for over a year.
• Actively participated in academic programmes and research activities.
• Trained in managing paediatric neurosurgical emergencies including trauma.
• Adept in Endoscopic treatment for hydrocephalus-ETV as well as VP shunt, VA shunt.
• Trained to perform surgeries for paediatric brain and spine tumors, including posterior fossa tumors, suprasellar space occupying lesions, intra and extramedullary tumors of spinal cord involving intraoperative neuromonitoring.
• Worked at a centre providing supraregional craniofacial services and adept in the management and surgery for craniosynostosis- fronto-orbital advancement and reconstruction, Calvarial remodelling, Posterior distracters, calvarial augmentation.

POST GRADUATE TRAINING IN NEUROSURGERY
1. Trained under the guidance of Prof. Jacob P. Alapatt, one of the most eminent neurosurgeons in Kerala.
2. During this period developed comprehensive knowledge on the diagnosis and management of various neurosurgical cases.
3. Participated in the academic programmes with regular seminars and case presentations in the monthly meetings of Calicut Neurosurgical Society.
4. Adept to handle neurosurgical emergencies including ICU and ventilator management, EVD and central catheter insertion, tracheostomy.
5. Proficient in managing all types of cranial trauma and have operated more than 300 trauma cases including EDH, SDH, contusions, hematomas, depressed fractures.
6. Assisted and performed over 150 cases of cranial tumors including meningiomas in various locations, gliomas, metastases, CP angle tumors, posterior fossa tumors, craniopharyngiomas including pediatric cases and orbital tumors
7. Assisted cases of endoscopic pituitary surgery, ETV, endoscopic colloid cyst excision
8. Performed and assisted several cases of brain abscess and subdural empyema, VP shunt.
9. Assisted over 60 cases of spinal surgeries including cervical and lumbar disc disease, extra and intramedullary tumors, CVJ anomalies, spinal trauma, occipitocervical fusion, spinal instrumentation, myelomeningocele, tethered cord.
10. Assisted over 25 cases of vascular neurosurgery including Aneurysms at different locations and AVMs.
11. Assisted 2 cases of Amygdalo-hippocampectomy and been a part of management of 24 epilepsy surgery patients.
