Thank you for your time attending this correspondence. I am a full-time Senior Consultant Ophthalmologist and Refractive and Phacoemulsification Surgeon with 21 years of experience, specialised in anterior segment.
I was employed until a few days ago by Dr Sulaiman Al Habib but unfortunately due to financial issues because of the Corona crisis, they were no longer able to afford my services and had to let me go.
For the moment I can stay at the compound of the hospital here in Riyadh until I find another position elsewhere or the borders open again. I spoke to the HR department and they assured me, they will facilitate all their help in transferring my Iqama should I find a new position.
I am confident my long time experience and skills would be a great contribution to your ophthalmology department. I am completely flexible and would take regular and out-of-schedule on-call responsibilities, regular outpatient duties, and operative theatre sessions both in elective and emergency context. I can work completely independent without supervision.
