* Launched supplier table global process with the cross-functional team to attack top incoming material issues of the plant that reduced repetitive material issues by 86% and sporadic material issues by 39%
* Moved 100% of AA (Safety & regulatory) and 61% of A (Functional) characteristics to green zone by using an advanced WCM tool “8” stages of incoming material”, working proactively with suppliers on their quality processes and control plan.
* Generated hundreds of Non Conformance Tickets (NCT) against Suppliers, resulting in over a million dollars in scrap recovery for the Windsor Assembly Plant, with implementation of 51% more error mistake proofing devices at supplier’s facility to avoid future defects
* Presented 3 major kaizen projects to director of quality and manufacturing at a WCM audit in 2018. The project eliminated the #1 material issue in trim zone 8 and resulted in a 3% improvement in WAP’s DRFTC score, saving the plant $330,000.
