I am writing to apply for paediatrician/ paediatrics neurology post in your facility. I have clinical MD in paediatrics, membership of paediatrics (MRCPCH), MRCP subspecialty certificate in neurology and over 17 years of experience in both hospitals and clinics settings. I have interest and extensive experience in paediatrics neurology. I also have long experience in teaching medical students and paediatrics resident.
I have over 7 years’ experience in the Gulf area; in Abu Dhabi. I hold a valid paediatrics consultant HAAD license and consultant licence from my country.
My education, training, and experience have given me an opportunity to develop a strong background in the field of general paediatrics and lately in paediatrics neurology over the last 4 years. I currently work for Medeor Hospital and assigned paediatric neurology in Alain when it opened. I used to work as specialist paediatrics neurology in Mafraq Hospital, then moved to AL Noor Hospital from January 2015 through September 2015. In my previous role as a paediatrics neurology specialist I have had solid exposure to range of diseases and health disorders, including high volume of developmental delay, epilepsy, Autism and other behavioural paediatrics, as well as acute neurological cases. I continued to see general paediatric problems among my neurological patients. In AL Noor I used to cover both neurology and general paediatrics, both as in-patients and as out-patients.
While in the government I used to work as clinical instructor to Gulf medical college in Abu Dhabi.
My key job responsibilities included but not limited to the following:
• Providing direct medical services to patients; both in out-patients and in-patients settings.
•Contributing in interdepartmental consultations beside consultation from other SEHA facility and the private sector that lack the paediatrics neurology specialty.
•Supervising resident physicians, medical students, and mid-level staff
•Participating in the development of medical services, including standard procedures, management of activities related to patient care, and standard procedures
