This is just a brief overview of my career. The detailed CV is attached.
My name is Osama N. Elsayed, Egyptian by nationality. (Near native speaker accent of English) I am a
bachelor holder of English language and Education since 1977, and also a member of the Institute of
Training and Occupational Learning iTOL – Liverpool – UK since 2008.
Currently I am a freelance language trainer licensed from Dubai Creative Clusters Authority since
Jan., 2016.
Before, I held the position of Language Trainer & Business Communication Officer in Al Ain Zoo from
2010 till the end of 2015. There, I was responsible for bridging the gaps between Arabic and English
by designing and delivering complete packages of English and Arabic courses for both national and
English speaking staff.
I have about 38 years of teaching/training experience, 20 of which were in Saudi Arabia and the rest
in UAE.
In addition to actual language training / mentoring / teaching, my previous experience includes
school management when I worked for Manarat Schools in Khobar, Saudi Arabia as an assistant
principal during the period 1985 - 1992. Also, I was responsible of establishing – from scratch – the
language training section of the Training Department at Arabian Industrial Fibers Company in Yanbu,
Saudi Arabia. I also have experience in ISO certification procedure.
I’m interested in a relevant English Language teaching/training job, or a school principal/assistant
Principal job, for I believe the requirements and scope of responsibilities of these jobs match my
experience and skills.
It’s worth mentioning that I started my career as a demonstrator in the faculty of education, EinShams University – Cairo where I graduated in 1977, and since then, most of my experience has
been focused on Education, whether in the teaching/training or education management fields.
My main specializations include - but are not limited to – the following:
