SYNOPSIS OF WORK EXPERIENCE:

Nov 2013 till date Gibson Innovations Netherlands BV:
Asst Manager Logistics / Shipping, reporting to Group Finance Lead.

Supervise entire logistics activities provided by DANZAS. Manage Import and Export Process Supervise 3rd party service providers for logistics, transportation, warehousing, co packing / labeling (Value added services). Manage inventory flow. Maintain warehouse KPIs. Working closely with Order Management and supervise inbound and outbound orders are fulfilled on time by the 3PL service provider. Ensure the department’s cost-efficient operation by implementing and selecting the most cost-efficient carrier, negotiates on shipping rates, Prepare and analyze inventory reports and other various consolidated management reports. Determine space requirements for storage in warehouse, scheduled delivery and distribution of parts and materials to achieve distribution objectives. Serving as the key contact for issue escalation in the region. Carry out purchase functions related to warehousing and distribution. Responsible for inventory disposition process of excess and obsolete skus.
Managing more than 300 skus of Philips audio products such as Home Theater systems, CD sound machines, Sound bar, BT speakers, different type of head phones and accessories.

March 2007 - Nov 2013: Philips Electronics Middle East & Africa as RDC officer reporting to Supply Lead

Responsibilities:
Physical distribution, import & exports, VAS such as SASO labeling, dekitting, plug change, monitor TPW costs, and inventory control - for skus in beauty & personal care, kitchen appliances, garment care, avent baby products, coffee equipments (more than 800 skus) Follow up with the supply centers to ensure timely goods receipt and planning with supply team for monthly imports. Execute the out bound shipments to various destinations from Jebel Ali according to the WOW agreed with the customer. Ensure 3rd party service provider renders all services mentioned as per contract such as dispatch & documentation. Check for errors in Cycle Counts for all SKUs during stock movement and analyze the differences between WMS and SAP systems. Coordinate annual physical stock count. Initiate the 3PL invoices verification & contract renewals. Perform and maintain various KPI reports and monitor whether they are in line with the LOI & contract terms with 3rd party service provider.

Oct 2005 - Feb 2007 Team Leader operations and customer services Agility Cold store at AL Quoz.
Reporting to Client service & operations Manager. Rendering logistics services to over more than 50 cold store clients such as (DP-World, Carrefour, Starbucks, Jawad, Al Mir Trading, Alphamed, Freshly Frozen Foods, Faisal Al Nousuf, Al Basti Hartog, Carribou Coffee, Oasis Food International, Fresh Express, Heidi Chef, (etc) to name a few.
Responsibilities
Monitor all in bound and outbound activities. Maintain required temperature for frozen food stuff in the ware house. Deliver frozen/chilled food stuff at required temperatures. Vehicle and route planning for distribution. Tactical account development plan and monitor process. Provide KPI to finance for month end billing. Maintain high level of stock accuracy in the WMS as well as physical. Plan work schedules for warehouse staff. Responsible for health and safety and deal with disciplinary issues. Make sure security measures are adequate and the procedures are carried out correctly. Contribute to continuous process reviews and suggest possible improvement. Arrange stocks for DMC inspection. Liaise with other departments such as transport, administration, maintenance, inventory control etc for smooth and trouble free activities.
