I’m highly interested in the opportunity of being one of your team. Actually working with you is more in line with my future professional aspirations.
I started my career in 2010 as a science, chemistry and biology teacher at Al Rayane institute in Lebanon where I taught students from grades 1 to 11, Then in 2011, I traveled to Abu Dhabi where I worked at Al Ittihad national private school- Khalifa city A , as a Lab instructor, and a science teacher for grade 5. I enjoyed working there, but I was always searching for a full time teaching job.
Later on, I moved to Horizon private school- Branch-Abu Dhabi. I started there as a science teacher for grades 5, 6, and 7, and as a chemistry teacher for grades 9 and 10. Then, I ended up teaching chemistry for grades 9 and 10, and AP chemistry for grades 11 and 12. This position enabled my students to master the basic skills needed to start a major that requires chemistry.
At the present time, I’m working at Emirates National School- MBZ since the academic year 2014-2015.I started there as an MYP science teacher for grade 8, and an AP and Common Core chemistry teacher for grades 9 to12, and currently I’m the science coordinator at school, and also teaching DP and Common Core Chemistry for grades 9,11, and 12.
I’m patient, calm, a good communicator, and I don’t get angry fast. Moreover, I have good conflict resolution and managerial skills too. I believe that I have enough experience inside and outside the classroom to be successful because during my career I was exposed to different curricula and grade levels (from 5 to 12). I'm especially concerned in the opportunity to be in a position that can help me to develop my skills and enhance my performance. I’m the kind of person who is always ready for new challenges. In addition, I’m strongly interested in innovative educational strategies that would help me to develop in this particular direction.
Finally, I truly enjoy working with other educators to strengthen their craft and expand my circle of influence beyond the walls of my own classroom. For this reason, I seek a position that will allow me to expand my skills in the area of leadership, Management, and curriculum supervision. Also, my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate and enthusiastic person will allow me to be a successful head of department, and capable of making a positive contribution to your school.
