Ensure proper calibration and verify temperature of the backing ovens, and portable heaters of preheated consumable electrodes used during welding. Draw free hand as built isometric hand drafting to small bore connected to the steam drum & headers, large bore & the spray water piping, marking welding map on the new as built isometric drawings. Witness steam boilers hydro test for unit I and II, and steam pressure parts together with ASME Authorized Inspector as per ASME B31.1 pressure parts limitations. The steam boilers were under (300 bars).

Obtain from Vendors a comprehensive schedule to allow the expediting to gauge the progress of the order.
Contact Vendor for follow-up of engineering data submission, materials acquisition, progress and any deliveries advice / status.
Expedite the Companys engineering to release missing or incomplete information to Vendor.

Expedite and inspect at appropriate time fabricated/manufacturer products and long lead equipments to verify that scheduled activities actually take place as per PO and MR.
Approve, maintain, & assure expediting files in a uniform manner and completely up to date before dispatch and prior to delivery.
Determine causes of delays to recover the delivery slippage for immediate reporting & Follow up inspection findings, Overage, Shortage & damaged materials at vendor/manufacturer premises.
Carry out HOLD, Witness, and Surveillance / Monitoring inspections and testing at manufacturing workshops or construction sites to ensure compliance with the Client requirements, project specifications, procedures and standards.

Material Inspection and Traceability:
Approve, witness & inspect new site arrived material MRR as pipes, fittings, plate sheets materials against any mill imperfection, inspect and conform dimensions, length, diameter, thickness, and assure material in accordance and conform purchase order, mill test certificates, MDR, supplied from pipe mill or manufacturer, and evaluate its compliance to the project specification, and standard codes (ASME B Series, API Codes, Standards, ASTM).
Assure the full, random material traceability to D.S.S, S.S series, C.S., Alloy steel grades (P91, 22, 11, 9, 333) are according to the purchase order, material certificates, mark no., heat and slab no. have been carried out before releasing material to contractors.

Welding Inspection and NDT:
Familiar with welding CS, SS, DSS, Alloy Steel, P91, 11, 22, 9, and LTCS 333 Steel.
Supervise & witness welding activities & NDT nondestructive testing inspection according to client specification and relevant STDs.
Approve, witness as client representative inspections according to codes and standards, client specification, AWS D1.1/ASME IX/ANSI B31.1 - 31.3 - 31.4 - 31.8 16.5 , inspection and dimension of all field activities (Mat. receiving of piping, fittings, valves, plates, flanges) welding & pipe racks structure, piping fabrication and installation.
Prepare & issue site inspection reports with all findings, abnormalities and recommendations.
Review, approve & witness testing and certifying of Proposed WPS, and supported PQRs, and witness mechanical test.
Prepare, review, approve & witness testing & certifying welders and welding, NDT, PWHT, Inspection procedures WPS, PQR, WQT.
Review and marking up Manufacturing Contractors Inspection and Test Plans with required Witness and Hold points.
Witness & control proper applied welding process as per approved welding procedures, specification & test of welders qualification.
Witness, Approve and check proper carrying out of mechanical destructive lab testing for welded specimens of PQRs test coupons according to ASME IX and perform welding inspection according to code specification, accessing and issue visual & NDT reports.
Witness, Approve PQRs specimens mechanical testing at labs and ensure applicable STDs are met during mechanical test.
Control & check proper trace of all site contractors materials and welding consumables, and approving their handling procedures as per project specification and manufacturer recommendation.
Conduct final approval of R.T radiographic films Interpretation for subcontractors according to project specification, STD acceptance criteria, ASME B31.3 normal fluid service B31.1, VIII for production welding and ASME IX code requirements for WQT approvals.

Storage Tank Installation, Inspection and Testing:
Witness and approve Inspection of tank shell plate sheets by NDT & check the dimension (peaking & banding, plumpness & roundness) and witness vacuum / leak testing to nozzles, manholes, tank bottom plates, settlement after pressure test, according to API 650-Welded Steel Tanks for Oil Storage / 620-Design and Construction of Large, Welded, Low-Pressure Storage Tanks.
Witness inspection and supervision of the fabrication sequence to floating, cone and fixed roof tanks, Sphere tanks & hand over
operations using ASME VIII Division I, API 650 (Welded Steel Oil Storage Tanks) / API 620 (Design & Construction of Large
Welded Low Pressure Storage Tanks) during construction and installation.

Steel Structure Manufacturing:
Perform as 3rd party inspection engineer in-processes steel structure inspection, dimension check, and testing during fabrication, manufacturing, welding, and painting / galvanizing.

Instrumentation Validation, Calibration:
Review, approval, and validation of equipment / machines and instruments calibration certificates based on check and inspection before use in the entire project, and witness the re calibration, and re validation by the accreditation body at their facilities and labs.

Piping Fabrication, Quality, Inspection, and Supervision:
Supervise contractor's activities in a safe, secure, healthy and efficient manner in accordance with the company's policies, procedures, and ensure welfare of personnel PPE all times.
Ensure piping systems are following the approved isometric, P&ID, bill of material, welding map & last revision as built drawings.
Approve, witness PMI testing procedure and verify proper carrying out to stainless steel series and low alloy steel grades.
Approve after my final Interpretation R.T radiographic films of the subcontractors according to ASME B31.3 normal fluid service B31.1, VIII - IX code requirements for approval.
Conduct system walk down inspections and identify deficiencies, discrepancies for mechanical completion stage according to the contract requirements, project specifications and final approved engineering drawings, Isometric drawings, P& IDs.
Supervise construction, installation of piping systems as per engineering, ISO metric, schematic, and fabrication drawings.
Supervise & witness piping tests, control of inspections carried out by contractors during fabrication, installation, and execution.
Supervise, Monitor, and Execute EPC projects activities concerning to Mechanical Piping Systems, Package Units, and Piping Fabrication Work according to various piping material specifications CS, AS, SS, pressure system classes.
Evaluation, review of design and fabrication changes requests and waivers; (Technical queries/Request for engineering, site drawings as built, concession request) against contractual requirements, specifications, and standards.
Conduct system walk down inspections and identify deficiencies, discrepancies for mechanical completion stage according to the contract requirements, project specifications and final approved engineering drawings, Isometric drawings, P&IDs.

Assists in maintaining documentation related to work with in the contract includes daily activities, and issuance of work permits as required and ensure open/close out of work permits as per HSE polices and procedures.
Assist maintaining records of contractor's progress against schedule and reviews with construction management correct measures necessary to ensure compliance with project implementation schedule.
Report daily contractor activities (total spools erected, isometric drawings installed, welded diameters, pipe supports, pipe fittings). 
Ensure proper installation of all piping components as per last revision Isometric drawings (proper material, fittings, gaskets, bolts, etc), and ensure valves proper identification and tagging, correct flow direction and arrows on valves.  
Attending as per ITP surface preparation before painting, WFT or DFT, and cladding activities.
Review and approve hydro test package documents before testing, and assist the preparation of hydro, pneumatic tests by contractors/sub contractors and re instatement of piping systems after satisfactory pressure testing.

Re instatement, Pre commissioning and Commissioning:
Review and approve hydro test package documents before submitting to client and before testing.
Witness & Issue as client representative punch list items & follow up punch list categories clearance and closing activities (before, after hydro test), and coordinate final re instatements of piping systems, pre commissioning punch list clearance as per contract requirements, witness final air blow, flushing, proper piping fittings installation, final gasket installation, and final bolt tightness.
Review and approve hydro test package documents, final contractual turn over dossier before & after testing completion, and before submit to client for approving final completion certificate/s (CCC, MCC).

Refurbishing and Recertification of BOPs and Valves: Shaffer, Cameron, and Hydrill BOPs - (Blow Out Preventers), SDVs, SOV, MOV, Control, Globe Valves etc, testing and re certification as per manufacturer specification and API 6D, 598, MSS SP 82

In service Inspection and Maintenance (ENI Oil & Gas West Desert Libya Oil & Gas Plant Live Operation):
Implement annual plant inspection plans for (Preventive & Corrective maintenance) of static equipment to ensure compliance with ENI specification and standard.
Attend daily control room meeting, and daily plant management WOs closing meetings to discuss concerns on Corrective & Preventive issued work orders, and accomplishment in timely manner as per WO time close out.
Attend the implementation of periodic inspection of pressure vessels, storage tanks, well head flow & Pipelines (Raw Gas, Hydrocarbons, water injection, Inlet & Outlet Gas Headers, Plant Launchers & Receivers, Slug Catchers, Separators, Well Heads Satellite Stations Inlet Oil & Gas underground pipe lines and Plant piping network systems), carried out by contractor to ensure inspection performed according to client requirements, inspection plan, approved procedures.
Representing ENI/WAFA in corrective and preventive inspections coordination of static equipment maintenance department, between ENI/WAFA & maintenance contractors inspection personnel.
Implementing, supervise maintenance & inspection requirements are followed for static equipments at inspection location & inspected new fabricated material and spare parts at workshop & plant. Monitor and assure inspectors under my supervision are following static equipment inspection work orders generated by MAXIMO to determine condition of inspected Static equipments.
Review, evaluate, and approve inspection reports with findings and generate recommendations to the asset teams for any repair or replacement action necessary to maintain integrity. Ensure all performed preventive & corrective maintenance inspections according to owner specification, standard & codes specified in Work Orders. Check instrument calibration log book.
Review, trace certification, validity and calibration of all Instruments and equipments used during inspection and maintenance; includes mechanical and instrumentation departments, and witness the calibration and validity by the accreditation body.
Witness the PSVs, and valves maintenance, and re furbishing, certification and calibration after replacement as per manufacturer specification and vendor requirements and STDs API 6D, 598 and MSS SP82.
Check and conduct audit and monitor inventory control on ware house consumable and raw material stock and request as appropriate the new material includes all piping components, fitting, valves, gaskets, bolts to the purchasing department.
