I have done B.E. Chemical Engineering from REC/NIT, Durgapur, India (1998-2002) & have 16 years of experience in Operation, Basic & Details Engineering fields. Please find attached below key technical details:
• Review of the ITB (Invitation to Bid) documents & techno-commercial vendor offers, raise the inquiry requisitions, prepare equipment, material and man-hour estimates.
• Experience in the development of Mass and Energy Balances, P&IDs, equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, Process Control Philosophy, Operating Manual, Cause & Effect, specification of instrumentation and control systems and the preparation of data sheets.
• Review of engineering design packages and deliverables and ensure & update & awareness to subordinate about the technical aspects. Revaluate & check the operations to improve the plant capacity with techno-economically.
• Heat Exchanger Design, Relief design case development and relief device sizing.
• Experience in HAZOP / SIL (Including Package) & 3D Model Review, PHSER Study, ICSS, OTS, HAZID, Transient & Dynamic Simulation.
• Good understanding of Process Systems, safety and environment.
• Conduct and Participate in various meetings, both with Client and Internal meetings (Other disciplines) with Process Coordinators and Project Manager to review, Interface & check the accuracy and validity of process Data, finalize the Basic & Detail Engineering Scope of activities for a process unit.
• Preparation & Issue of RFQ’s, evaluation of vendor’s quotations, clarifications, Technical Bid Analysis, Pig launcher / receiver Datasheet, Collection Tanks, Pipeline P&IDs, PFD etc.
• Review of vendor’s Package /documents, drawings, datasheets, specifications and calculations (Desalter, Separator, TV/IA/PA Compressor Packages, Heater Package, Waste / Effluent water Treatment Package, Flare Package, Chlor alkali Plant, Chemical Injection package, Auto sampler, etc), Catalyst calculation, type & loading & unloading procedure.
• Prepare Scope of Work (SOW), Schedule and Estimation of Man-hour.
• To ensure proper division of work & responsibility among the process engineers, providing proper guidance & integration of work done, ensuring good, positive & healthy working nature among the team of engineers to ensure optimum productivity & efficiency.
