Mechanical Engineer (Piping):

Responsibilities:
• Description of work, Manpower required , Compilation of all Drawings; e.g. P&ID’s, Isometrics, Vendor Drawings, GA, Erection etc, scaffolding, lifting, insulation etc, Method statements, Materials lists and BOM’s, Equipment lists, Sub-contractor's roles and responsibilities, Special tools and equipment if required , Quality Documents , Risk Assessments, Permit procedures & Lifting plans.

• Undertake visits to sites to review designs and liaise with Construction Supervisors.
• Identify any Specialist Vendor Support, Tools and Equipment required to implement scope.
• Coordinate & Fine tune the Construction plan with Project Manager, Construction Manager, Planning & Discipline Engineers to ensure accurate schedules are produced against scope by constraint monitoring and removal.
• Coordinate & carry out required timely Constructability reviews.
• Ensure the required Constructability Readiness reviews are addressed to suit the work-pack deliverable timing
• Liaise strongly with Supply Chain for materials & equipment deliverables for alignment to the overall project schedules.

• Participate in HSE improvement activities, promoting HSE elements throughout Work Pack development where ever possible.

Mechanical Completion Engineer:

Responsibilities:
• Enter punch list in Database & daily updation.
• Assist in coordinating, monitoring and reporting all aspects of Mechanical Completion.
• To receive (by discipline supervisors) original punch list, recording them on the punch list record logbook and assuring their insertion in the Mechanical Completion Data Base.
• Official Notice of transferring any punch item from one department to other by mutual signing of both parties.
• Receives, reviews, sorts, issues, and manages resolution of the punch list with involved parties.
• To supply discipline supervisors with punch list printouts;
• Floating of information about systems, sub systems for early readiness of handing over to client as per schedule.
• To take punch list from file for collecting responsible signature when the work on the field is completed;
• Keep record of Box up, Quality documents, solo run tests, and chemical cleaning for dossier preparation.
• To maintain updated progress report of closed punch list items to address discipline supervisors / subcontractors punch list close-out as per given priority by the Pre-commissioning Group;
• To monitor status of pending priority punch list in each subsystem and keep Construction Management informed;
• Helping in preparation of Handing over dossier to clients as agreed.
• Coordinating for preparation of Mechanical Completion Certificates
• To monitor discipline completion. When a discipline is completed within a Subsystem he shall issue the Discipline Acceptance Certificate according to “Mechanical Completion Manual”.
• Tracking & monitoring of progress & sharing of data with Planning Team to prepare progress achieved against the issued plan.
• To monitor Final Completion Dossier status for each Subsystem/System. When the Subsystem/System is completed he shall issue the Subsystem/System Ready for Commissioning Certificate according to “Mechanical Completion Manual”.
• Provide details about systems, and sub system wise to construction team for remaining construction activities & which supporting documents are required.
• Proper scanning and segregation of documents in proper locations and folders.
• Keeping snapshots record reflecting closure of punch list in soft and hard form.
• To monitor the Final Completion Dossier preparation by Subcontractor/Precommissioning / Commissioning Group respectively.
