Detailed Profile

Key Result Areas:
Directing the quality control function for the EPC projects and heading the development & implementation of quality control plans for all purchase requisitions; ensuring timely delivery of purchased equipment & materials to site in adherence to the project quality requirements
Formulating quality plans & requirements and conducting reviews of the procured goods within the purchase requisitions in agreement with Supplier Quality Requirements (SQRF) and Supplier Documentation (SDRL)
Performing reviews of Supplier Quality documentation submitted in the tendering process; attending clarification meetings with potential bidders as required
Assessing supplier’s capability at Supplier premises; finalizing the inspection class based on criticality assessments in consideration with the supplier capability
Organizing Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM-for Inspection Class 1 & 2, and optionally Class 3); adhering to the standard PIM agenda and ensuring that vendor is aware of project-specific requirements.
Hands on experience with Pre-FAT, FAT and IFAT witness all major E&I equipment’s, including Telecom & Cathodic Production Systems
Hands on experience with Construction Execution, Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities
Administering the Supplier Inspection Programs and ascertaining that the inspections are conducted by assigned resources; ensuring accurate & timely & accurate issuance of inspection, non-conformance reports and Inspection Release Note (IRN)
Conducting Supplier Audits at Supplier premises (for Inspection Class 1 and optionally Class 2); preparing & conducting audit plans; documenting the audit reports & findings and issuing Non-Conformance Reports for the same
Investigating Quality defects before or after shipment conducting follow-ups at site and/or Supplier premises and developing strategies & implementing corrective action to minimize redundancies
Ensuring that progress and status reports are forwarded to the Project Quality Manager & Project Management team
