Developed and owned by Majid Al Futtaim Properties, it opened in November 2005 and is located at interchange four on Sheikh Zayed road. The multi-level shopping mall currently features more than 630 retail outlets, 7900 parking spaces, over 100 restaurants & Cafes, 80 luxury stores and 250 flagship stores. It has a total build up area 70 lac sq.ft, gross leasable area of 30 lac sq.ft, It also hosts family leisure activities including Ski Dubai (the Middle East’s first indoor ski resort and snow park), the 500-seat capacity Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre and Magic planet, one of the largest indoor family entertainment centres in Dubai. In November 2005, it was named the World's Leading New Shopping Mall at the World Travel Awards in London.[3] Forbes has also recognized Mall of the Emirates as one of the top five shopping malls in Dubai.
As head of operations successfully opened the iconic Mall of the emirates in UAE, worked for 8 years until 2013. Mobilized and managed team of more than 1500 contracted staff, had extremely cordially relationship with 600 plus tenants, managed Capex budget of more than 100M, AND Opex of 50M. Launched Paid parking in the Mall – which added additional AED 8 million revenue annually
Created 32000 sq. ft of specialty leasing area for ATM and Kiosks which added additionally AED 12 to 15 million revenue annually.
