• Review company procedure, standards & specification, industry codes and relevant standard drawings for project implementation and before performing actual field inspections for acceptance of the work.
• Regular surveillance and conduct inspection of construction activities as per ITP and project specification.
• Responsible for the Implementation of Project Quality Control Plan and Client specification through inspection and surveillance.
• Responsible for the Implementation of Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) as required by project specification and standards.
• Responsible for assuring that the required NFI being raised are as per ITP and the previous concerned NFI’s are approved.
• Coordinate with construction personnel about ongoing inspection issues.
• Responsible for coordinating with engineering personnel regarding engineering drawing issues.
• Regular reporting to QC Engineer & Manager, on any major issues which require immediate action.

• Monitoring and surveying all instrumentation works and activities at the site and making sure that all are in proper procedure and conforms to the standards.
• Review and familiarized the QCP/ITP, P and ID, Hook-up Drawing, Typical drawing details and other drawings related to construction of the project as a guide in performing task in inspections.
• Perform visual inspection and dimensional checks on all instrumentation related works such as cable tray installations, cable pulling, wiring, conduiting, marshaling cabinet installation, junction box installations and equipment installation.
• Inspection of instrument installation and calibration as well as functional test of instrument conforms to its data sheet.
• Prepare all the necessary documents needed prior to inspection such as RFI and QR.
• Prepare and involve in a loop test package.
• Checking termination and fixing of multi-core cables in junction boxes.
• Check Layout and installation/fixing/dressing of multi-core and single pair cables..
• Inspection in installation of field instruments based on instrument installation and hook-up details.
• Witness & Inspection during loop-checking and continuity testing of instruments based on prepared loop drawing packages and schedule.
