I am an American citizen from the state of Florida. My background is in banking, financial management and quantitative methods.
I currently worked as a finance professor & part-time as a DBA Accounting & Finance Dissertation Mentor of the School of Management & Technology at the Capella University, USA; Accounting & Finance Department. I also served on the faculty of the College of Business Administration, the Graduate School of Business of the Embry-Riddle University, USA & World-Wide. I was previously Director of Executive MBA Program & the Interim Dean of College of Business Administration at Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University, Saudi Arabia. I have worked as a management consultant and in the commercial Banking Operations for almost 16 years at CDB International Bank and Union Bank respectively.
My current research focuses on corporate financial management & accounting, and investments and my research articles have been published in reputable international business Journals. I am currently studying the behavioral implication of the stock market performance and literature on limits to arbitrage activities. I currently teach the core finance classes of DBA Program; MBA, Managing Financial Resources and has taught an financial statement analysis, capital budgeting, financial institutions & markets, Investments and Quantitative Methods electives at BS programs.
Teaching both face2face & online for me is demanding but highly satisfying experience with an added advantage of flexibility in class timing; and thus provides me with the opportunity to meet, educate and interact with adult students and professionals from the Middle-East and all over the world.
