PROJECT MANAGEMENT

coordinating with clients, assessing project requirements, developing Survey Plans,

CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

SITE SURVEY INSPECTION

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Boundary Determination:
- I am responsible for accurately determining property boundaries. Directing or conducting fieldwork to locate and measure boundary points, verifying the accuracy of survey data, analyzing legal documents and historical records, and applying relevant laws and regulations to establish precise boundary lines including measurements and calculations conducted.

Land Measurement and Mapping:
- I used advanced surveying equipment and techniques to measure and map land features. This includes conducting topographic surveys to determine elevations, creating contour maps, and generating accurate survey drawings and maps using computer-aided design (CAD) software.

Geodetic and Control Surveys:
- Involved in geodetic surveys, which involved establishing a network of control points and benchmarks with accurate coordinates, and monitoring construction progress. These control points are reference points for other surveys and mapping projects, including construction layouts and geographic information systems (GIS).

Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Checking all Survey Processed Data on CAD, which is taken at the site by the Total
Station through Software. Analyzing survey data, performing calculations, and interpreting results to ensure accuracy and reliability. Mathematical and statistical methods are used to process data, identify errors or discrepancies, and make necessary adjustments to survey measurements.

Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for surveying activities. They maintain records of survey data, prepare survey reports, and provide expert testimony in legal proceedings related to property boundaries or land disputes. Supervising the preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
- Reviews all survey crew documentation, and supplemental and electronic data for completeness and accuracy and transmits qualifying deliverable items in accordance with Company procedures.

Client Relations:
- Often interact with clients, including individuals, businesses, government agencies, and other stakeholders. They communicate project updates, address client concerns, provide expert advice, and establish positive working relationships to ensure client satisfaction. For the as-built drawing to submit the Client and Consultant find out the coordinates and elevation of all the existing facilities.

- I stay updated with the latest advancements in surveying technology, techniques, and regulations. They actively participate in professional development activities, attend seminars or conferences, and engage in lifelong learning to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Construction and Engineering Surveys:
- As a Survey Party Chief works primarily and exclusively in the field and is responsible for the organization, efficiency, precision, accuracy, integrity, and documentation of all fieldwork performed by a survey crew under direct supervision as required for a variety of survey projects. Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed.
- The ability to work independently and play a crucial role in construction and engineering projects to solve problems with constructability and construction processes. Interact with the Manager during the planning, evaluating, execution, and completion of survey projects to ensure that assigned tasks meet and or exceed project requirements.
- Provide information to Inspectors for Maintaining As-built Records. Conduct Surveys for the Design of Changes to the Works and Ensure joint survey measurements are agreed upon with the Contractor for interim payments.
- Review the contractor’s proposal to resolve survey coordination conflicts at the existing facilities, coordinate survey grids and datum, and ensure joint survey measurement is agreed upon with the Contractor for interim payments.
- Checking of Contractor’s Established Control Points and Setting-out of Works for Lines & Levels. Reports to Project Manager/ Resident Engineer/Asst. Resident Engineer
where the as-constructed works are out of tolerance immediately for escalation. The Contractor will be given a Non-Conformance Report (NCR) that the work must be remedied or removed.
- Checking the contractor's survey instruments, methods, and accuracies are within
- specification requirements. Coordinating with the Contractor's surveyor on work priorities and schedules.
- Supervision of infrastructural networks such as Drainage, sewer, stormwater, potable water, and irrigation pipes laying, bedding, backfilling and testing, concrete works of manholes, inspection chambers, and Ground Water Tanks.
- Co-operate with heads of departments on any subject related to the project programs and maintain good relationships with all department managers to plan and supervise the programs of construction activities in coordination with joint venture staff and client representatives, on a daily basis.
- Coordinates with the entire project requirements and provides temporary control points on every floor for setting out the structural features such as columns, walls, etc. for the sub-contractors as required by the project.
- Supervising all the related activities done by sub-contractors for e.g., setting out all the foundations, Laying Pipelines, and elevations, and checking all complete structural superstructural and architectural works (Internal and external), landscaping works, Internal Roads, Services, Paving, Curbstones for the Commercial, and Hotel buildings.
- Setting out of concrete ring wall foundations for tanks and equipment pads like Foundations for Generators, Shipping Pumps, Booster Pumps, Boilers, and Sleeper foundations for piping according to coordinates and Elevation. etc.
- Setting out all the foundations for Steel Structures and shelters such as Like Generators, Booster Pumps, Shipping Pumps, Wax Processing Units, Metering Skid Shelters, and all foundations for Boilers, Turbine, Chimneys and Transformers, Access Roads, Lighting Poles, Underground Cable routing, etc.
- Setting out of foundations for water treatment System, switchgear systems, and construction for the Control room, Tunnel, and proposed route for Underground water storage facilities, underground pipeline onshore to offshore from Pig Launcher and
Scraper area. According to the location of the steel pipe pile, check the verticality and elevation of pipes for the small craft Harbor.

Team Supervision and Training:
- As part of the Chief of the survey party provides direction to all survey crew members and Rotating staff assignments to develop the skills & qualifications of the Surveyors. Carry out the work in fulfillment of its obligations, and maintain a safe working environment with high productivity.
- Supervises the activities of all survey crew personnel including the operation, maintenance, calibration, and configuration of survey equipment, total station instruments, digital (bar code) and differential levels, electronic data collectors, field computers, and handheld GPS devices.
- Performs administrative functions to ensure survey crew time/expenses are correctly tracked and documented in addition to completing daily reporting duties. Adheres to and enforces Company policies and procedural standards.
