Roles & Responsibility
• Reported to General Manager
• Accountable for delivery of HSE related aspects of the project during the lifecycle of the project: Driving the discipline and methodologies of HSE systems implementation and compliance within projects.
• Coordinate with Clients, Project Directors / Managers / Engineers and HSE Personnel to ensure the successful implementation and maintenance of Project Specific HSE Plans and Programs.
• Ensure projects are maintaining high standards of HSE management & compliance with Legal requirements, HSE Management System, and local statutory compliances.
• Provide strong HSE leadership to staff along with guidance and mentoring to project personnel.
• Liaising with Local Authorities.
• Develop, review and Implement Project HSE Plans and Programs and ensure they are communicated to project management teams for implementation.
• Conduct awareness training on HSE Management Initiatives and Programs for employees.
• Ensure Project Management set Objectives and Targets for HSE compliance and monitor the performance of these Objectives and Targets.
• Facilitate Project HSE Meeting Register, Project Meeting Agenda, track & monitor HSE Meeting Action Lists.
• Evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of HSE Plans, Programs and prepare periodical reports with trend analysis for management’s review empowering project employees to take ownership of the HSE Plan.
• Lead accident investigations and ensure measures and/or controls to prevent recurrences and communicate to all the Project & HSE personnel inclusive of incidents record and report to Client, company staff & Government.
