We are seeking an experienced Senior Material Controller to oversee and manage materials procurement, inventory, and logistics for ADNOC Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in materials management within the oil & gas industry, particularly in piping and shutdown operations, ensuring timely availability of materials while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, coordination, and control of materials procurement, storage, and distribution for projects, shutdowns, and maintenance activities.
Ensure the availability of piping, equipment, and consumables in line with project schedules and operational requirements.
Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock audits, and coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment.
Review and verify material requisitions, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and logistics providers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of material movements, stock levels, and certifications.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Coordinate with site teams, engineering, and procurement departments to forecast material needs.
Oversee material inspection, quality checks, and certification processes.
Manage the documentation process for materials, including receipt, issuance, and disposal.
Support shutdown planning by ensuring critical materials are available and properly staged.
Lead material-related audits and prepare reports on inventory status and material usage.
Implement best practices for inventory management, including FIFO, LIFO, and safety stock strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field.
12+ years of experience in materials management within the oil & gas industry.
Extensive experience in piping and shutdown materials management.
Familiarity with ADNOC specifications, standards, and procedures.
Strong understanding of procurement processes and logistics.
Experience with inventory management systems and ERP tools.
Knowledge of safety standards related to materials handling.
