We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Quantity Surveyor to manage the cost planning, estimation, and commercial aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works within our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure project budgets are maintained, variations are controlled, and contracts are managed effectively in compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) for MEP systems based on project drawings and specifications.
Analyze drawings and specifications to track project costs and identify material and labor requirements.
Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotes to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor project expenditures, identify cost variations, and prepare variation orders (VOs).
Coordinate with engineers, site managers, and procurement teams to verify quantity and quality of installed works.
Participate in value engineering efforts to optimize design and reduce costs.
Handle interim payment applications, final accounts, and cost reconciliation with contractors/subcontractors.
Support in contract administration, including reviewing terms and drafting commercial correspondences.
Attend site meetings, project reviews, and client discussions as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and local construction codes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in MEP quantity surveying in the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of MEP systems, installation methods, and technical specifications.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar).
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts or other standard forms of construction contracts.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
