The Music Teacher is responsible for instructing students in music theory, performance, and appreciation. This role involves developing and delivering engaging lessons, fostering students’ musical talents, and promoting a love for music across various age groups and skill levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver music lessons according to the curriculum and students’ skill levels.
Teach music theory, vocal and instrumental techniques, and music appreciation.
Organize and conduct rehearsals, performances, and recitals.
Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
Encourage creativity and individual expression through music.
Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Prepare students for music exams, competitions, and events.
Manage and maintain musical instruments and teaching materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or related field preferred.
Experience teaching music to children or adults.
Proficiency in one or more musical instruments or vocal training.
Strong knowledge of music theory and practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching music.
