Job Title: Senior Accountant – School

Qualification Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (attested)
MOE / Ministry Equivalency Certificate (Bachelor’s equivalency)
Valid IELTS 5.5 or equivalent English proficiency

Experience:
Minimum 5 - 7 years of accounting experience, preferably in UAE curriculum schools or educational institutions.
Experience with school fee systems, audit coordination, and reporting preferred.


Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the school’s general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards, school policies, and audit requirements.
Support the external audit process by providing documentation and reconciliations.
Manage student fee collections, petty cash, and bank reconciliations.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems).
Excellent numerical accuracy and analytical skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
