Position: Business Analyst - Hospitality
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: 20,000 QAR
Exp. Require: 10 - 12 Yrs.
Role and responsibilities
• Creation of Business requirements documents and Functional specifications as required by the Projects.
• Expert in using PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and other tools to create the requirement documents
• Bringing in the Airlines and Business consulting experience in various airline domain business areas, including cargo, flight operations, catering, media, technical maintenance, airport management, ground services etc.
• Expert in stakeholder mapping and management
• Conduct requirement gathering sessions, documentation of Business requirements, and documenting functional specifications
• Create user stories for the Agile Sprints
• Collaborating with the Business and IT teams to ensure the requirements feasibility analysis is done to cater to the Business needs.
• Prepare functional and technical specifications for external suppliers or for in-house implementation.
• Prepare the use cases and develop test cases for User Acceptance testing
• Partnering with the Test managers in the larger projects to ensure correct Business requirements are delivered
Mandatory Skills - Healthcare Domain Knowledge
• Hospital Workflows: Understanding the patient journey, from admission, triage, and clinical charting to discharge, billing, and insurance claims.
• Regulatory Compliance: Deep familiarity with patient data privacy laws (e.g., HIPAA in the US, GDPR in Europe) and medical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT).
• Clinical Systems (EHR/EMR): Practical knowledge of integrating and customizing systems like Epic, Cerner, or Allscripts to fit hospital operations.
• Healthcare Interoperability: Understanding standards for medical data exchange, such as HL7 and FHIR.
