We are looking for young and enthusiastic Internal Auditor cum Accountant who shall be responsible for audit and risk management engagements. Successful incumbents will plan and execute internal audits and gain invaluable experience and perspective on businesses and their operations. The position will allow for growth within a global network CA office whilst building experience in multi-industry engagements. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, key decision-makers, and business owners across various industries in the UAE.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience at an Audit Firm. Qualification should be CA Inter only. Prospect must possess a thorough understanding of market risk, regulations & guidelines, financial instruments. Interested applicants will be required to demonstrate practical knowledge of IFRS and IAS. Basic knowledge of UAE VAT laws and regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop ability in planning and project managing aspects of audit engagements
• Build an understanding of the firm’s business strategy, policies, processes, risks, and controls
• Performing substantive tests and tests of internal controls
• Identify and resolve accounting or reporting issues
• Carrying out audit procedures and document findings
• Preparing Audit working papers
• Ability to write comprehensive internal audit reports
• Identifying, researching and helping to resolve complex audit issues
• Support firm’s special engagements
• Reporting to audit managers and partners on all significant points arising from audits

• Responsible for book keeping, maintaining accounts, general ledgers for multiple companies
• Keeping all accounts up to date and produce P&L, Balance Sheet, and other monthly reports.
• Responsible for account receivables and follow-up on payment.
• Experience in handling stocks and generating DO's, Invoices & project invoicing as per project timelines.
• Should be organized and file all documents as per company policy.
• Excellent attitude towards learning and working in a team.
