Assistant Manager - Accounts & Finance
Job Location : UAE
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform the delegated assignments and assist in smooth work as per the operation of the F & A dept.
• Experience in SAP/ Tally ERP or any other similar ERP.
• Knowledge of Import and Export accounting and related documentation.
• Knowledge and experience of the UAE VAT submissions.
• MIS reports - Submitting periodic viz, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly MIS reports required by the management with executive summary
• Branch- handling branch accounts & their MIS
• Trade Finance Banking- Liaison with the banks for Trade finance transactions, L/c, DP, TR, and other Trade finance-related knowledge and process.
• Fund Planning -Planning and Maintaining fund flow statement, Receivables, stock, and Payables management.
• Reconciliation - To ensure monthly reconciliation of all the receivable, payable, and related party ledgers/companies
• Audit - To oversee the audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Manage all legal and statutory reporting requirements and deal with external agencies.
• Back-up - Should know every function of the finance & accounts dept so as to act as backup for any staff on emergency leave.
• To review existing processes and systems and suggest improving efficiency and effectiveness
• Manage of team of Accountants (approx. 10-12 staff)
• Conducting In house Training to the staff based on the need.
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities as required by Head of Finance.
Education Qualification:
• Degree in Commerce / Master Degree in Commerce & finance, CA inter /ICAI preferred but not essential.
• Preferably male with a strong finance background
• With relevant experience in a similar role, Metals industry / Manufacturing Industry preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good presentation skills
