Main Scope

Plan the excellence strategy of the company including the planning for the company quality, health and safety in addition to the departmental KPIs, strategic and tactical plans for the company as a whole and its departments. Ensure that departments are achieving their objectives and meeting the company’s standards. Identify deviations and violations and take the necessary actions to correct and make sure that such incidents will not occur again. Follow-up and coordination and to ensure the successful implementation of the quality system, and the coordination of all activities related to the excellence and quality standards, and indicators of the performance of the institution and all procedures and performance measurement systems.

Main Performance Areas

Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities

• Participate in the preparation and review of the strategic plan of the company, in coordination with the concerned departments.
• Participate in the preparation of the annual budget and future expectations calculations, monitor and evaluate the implementation of the budget performance and to propose the necessary adjustments during implementation to meet the needs of organizational units.
• Develop operational plan for the department, participate in the revised and updated on a monthly basis to make sure that they are compatible with the Mission and Vision of the Company and company’s values.
• Participate in achieving strategic goals and specific objectives, in coordination with members of the department.
• Coordination with members of the department to implement the programs, activities and initiatives in the tactical plans.
• Follow-up of progress in the completion of projects, programs, and activities and includes:
1. Budget Commitment contributions.
2. Ensure implementation according to the timetable adopted.
• Participate in the preparation of performance indicators benchmarking with the global best practices.
• Review and make sure the procedures harmony with the best documentation practices and ensure compatibility with company’s procedures.
• Coordinate with the concerned departments to develop, design and documentation of work guides, controls and procedures, and activities and processes.
• Prepare and implement internal audit plans to make sure the departments’ commitment to quality systems in the organization and submit periodic reports to document the level of commitment to quality programs, departments, and suggest corrective actions when needed.
• Monitor the departments’ achievements of the main performance indicators, strategic & operational plans and highlight the need for improvement.
• Participate in process re-engineering in SKM, to identify current and future operations, the main and subsidiary operations.
• Implement operations flow charts through the use of appropriate software after determining processes.
• Ensure coordination with outside bodies and consultants in regard of issues related to quality and excellence.
• Provide feedback on the performance of the quality system to management to make appropriate decisions.
• Ensure effective implementation of all the agreed corrective and preventive actions and proposed them.
• Encourage the awareness and knowledge of quality management systems and best management practices in the organization.
• Lead the operational transformation in the company to match the best practices and lean management implementation.
• Benchmark the company’s manufacturing operations to the best practices and align them to the six sigma, ISO standards, Kaizen, 6S, lean management and other quality standards to be followed.
• Develop plans for health and occupational safety and follow-up implementation of the plans and take all corrective actions.
• Any other tasks related to his work or requested by the management.
