Metering Supervisor – Metering Team
Qualifications & Experience
• Diploma or higher qualification in instrumentation or metering or control or equivalent.
• Minimum Work experience of 7 years involvement in process metering, instrumentation maintenance and operation.
Main Duties
• Plan all work as per the required jobs and coordinate with Daleel metering team for plans and prioritization.
• Ensure all crew members are in good health and with all required PPES and PTW requirements.
• Maintain all documents, manuals, and reports in a well-structured manner.
• Work with the maintenance team to execute daily activities as per planned activities.
• Report maintenance activities and issues on daily basis to supervisor or principle technician.
• Ensure submitting daily history reports and maintain good quality.
• Update Daleel's CMMS system for all work done.
• Attending daily jobs allocated by Supervisor like CM and PM checks, Alarm & Trip verification's, Field calibration, fire & gas equipment and servicing of emergency shutdown and Control valves.
• Applying Work permits and closing them once the job is completed.
• Understand the hazards associated with the task involved and implement controls in consultation with supervisors.
• Coordinate with control room operator and field operator for attending jobs involving cleaning and servicing of field instruments, replacing of old instruments with new ones.
• Involve in plant shutdowns under supervision of shutdown management.
• Recommend the required amendment for the PEFS, PID and Logic diagrams.
• Ensure correct operation, maintenance and functionality of the Oil LACT unit Ensure correct operation, maintenance and functionality of the Gas LACT unit.
• Ensure correct operation, maintenance and functionality of the Water Metering unit
• Ensure correct operation, maintenance and functionality of the Well Test Units (3 Phase Separator, MPFMs, Mobile Separator).
• Maintain all documents, calibration and maintenance sheet in the share drive in a well-structured manner.
• Work with the team to execute daily activities as per planned activities, scope includes.
• Report the daily work and issues on daily and weekly basis.
• Attend the daily work including calibration, troubleshooting, corrective work and PM work for:

Level Transmitters and Gauges
• Read and Understand Instrument Drawings (P&IDs, Loop Diagrams, Termination Details, Cause & Effect) and Documents (OEM manuals, Calibration Certificate, Data Sheets)
• Read and Understand DCS & PLC Functional Logic Diagrams
• Work with and Ensure Correct Configuration of Flow Computers (OMNI & FloBoss)
• Calibrate, test, troubleshoot and repair various instrument, control and metering devices pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic analogy and digital devices found in the oil & gas industry.
• Carry out regular safeguarding functionality tests. This involves ESD valves stroking, function checks of Fire and Gas systems.
• Interpret OEM manuals, circuit and logic functional diagrams to determine tests and maintenance procedures for instruments systems.
• Create and Review procedures for regular maintenance and inspection tasks for the instruments systems.
• Expert in using the calibration and configuration tools (such as pressure hand pumps, resistance decade box, temperature heat bath, milli-amp source, HART field communicators).
• Provide technical advice during troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument failures to find the root cause and best solution.
• Monitor existing spare parts for critical instruments and meters to ensure availability.
• Develop and Maintain a master list capturing all the instrument issues and highlight possible failure reasons and suggest onto overcome these issues.
• Highlight all issues faced and lessons learnt during maintenance to supervisor in order to capture and correct them in the new designs and systems.
• Provide technical advice during troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument failures to find the root cause and best solution in order to restore their functionality.
• Monitor existing spare parts and inventory for critical instrumentation to ensure availability when required in order to minimize production interruption.
• Coordinate with material analyst to establish new spare parts list / cataloguing for the missing or new items.
• Update and Review information in the existing inventory system (to ensure it is relevant for the current operation and to update the min/max requirement based on failure history).
• Review the asset registry and bill of materials for existing and new equipment.
Main HSE Duties
• Understand and adhere the requirements set by the Company's Process Safety Management & QHSSE policies.
• Understand Process Safety, Risk management and the hazards associated with the task involved and be able to Implement controls.
• Comply with Daleel's PTW role and hazard management responsibilities and contribute to their effectiveness.
• Understand the hazards associated with the task involved and implement controls in consultation with supervisors.
• Follow all safety, health and environmental policies of the Company at all times.
• Certified as applicant (signatory) PTW.
• Ensures that all site activities are carried out in accordance with HSE procedures.
• Attends the HSE meetings with Daleel and apprise HSE related matters.
• Conducts worksites inspections to eliminate potential hazards and unsafe behaviour.
• Ensures that site personnel are competent to work safely as per HSE procedures.
• Takes immediate action to prevent unsafe or unhealthy working conditions
• Investigating and reporting promptly all accidents and unsafe acts.
• Ensures/conduct daily, weekly & monthly HSE meeting to encourage greater awareness of HSE among staff.
• Be aware of the Daleel petroleum's and contract HSE requirements applicable to work at site, in the offices and during leisure time.
• Perform activities to conform to Daleel petroleum's and Contract HSE requirements to preserve the health and well being of all personnel at site.
• Stops any activity that does not conform to any of the Daleel petroleum's and Contract HSE requirements.
• Communicate with Corporate HSE advisor for HSE matters.
• Follow QHSSE guidelines in case of any emergency and ensure to coordinate with all parties.
