Job Title: Parlor Technician
Reports directly to: Maintenance Lead
Job Purpose:
This position is responsible for maintenance of milking parlors. The position is also responsible for maintaining the essential spares for daily maintenance activities.
Main Tasks & Accountabilities:
• Task Maintenance Spare management
• Other Tasks parts Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environment
Description:
• Ensure Preventive maintenance of all the milking parlor equipment is carried out as per schedule.
• Address the breakdowns on priority and keep the parlors running smoothly.
• Replace the rubber wear as per schedule.
• Maintain the RFID and the sorting gates at the milking parlors.
• Troubleshoot the CIP instruments and the software is maintained properly
• Ensure essential and frequently consumable are stocked in house. Record and maintain the data of consumption of spares on daily basis Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
• Perform all the other tasks and activities as assigned.
• Responsible and be in alignment with the safety rules and procedures as per QHSE Policy.
• Ensure all relevant quality, health, security, safety, and environmental policies, procedures and controls are adhered to so that employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service and a responsible environmental attitude can be guaranteed.

Person Specification (Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience):
Education Level Minimum Requirement:
• Diploma in instrumentation engineering
Qualifications:
Professional:
• Diploma in instrumentation engineering or mechanical
Work Experience:
• A minimum of 3 years of large dairy herd parlor experience
• 2 years hands on experience in all aspects of all the work.
Skills:

• Strong communication skills with a confident & presentable personality
• Must be alert, strive for accuracy, and have ability to exercise independent thinking and judgment, be a self-motivator, and attention to detail
