Junior Accountant
Job Location : UAE
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accurately type, prepare, and maintain accounting documents and records.
• Handle bank deposits, general ledger postings, and financial statements.
• Reconcile accounts on a timely basis.
• Enter key financial transaction data daily into the database.
• Provide assistance and support to company personnel.
• Research and resolve accounting or documentation discrepancies.
• Inform management and compile activity reports/summaries.
• Adhere to established standards, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Audit documents to substantiate financial transactions.
• Ensure financial security through internal controls.
• Verify documentation and request disbursements to prepare payments.
• Maintain inventory control.
Qualifications:
• Education: B.Com/M.Com in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years in Accounting & Finance.
• Familiarity with Peachtree, Sage, and QuickBooks is preferable.
